About the Role We are looking for talented and highly motivated Equity Research Analysts to join our Research & Market Intelligence Team. This is not a traditional equity research role. Selected candidates will work at the intersection of financial markets, research, data, technology, and product development, contributing to the upcoming launch of Musaffa News, our financial markets and research platform. The role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who want practical exposure to equity research, financial data, fintech products, and market intelligence. Selected candidates will also receive direct mentorship from an experienced financial markets professional with international expertise across capital markets, research, technical analysis, fintech, and financial education. What You’ll Be Doing - Monitor global equity markets, companies, sectors, and major economic developments. - Research publicly listed companies using financial statements, earnings releases, filings, investor presentations, and market data. - Conduct fundamental and technical analysis. - Produce market updates, company analysis, earnings coverage, and analytical research. - Validate financial data, ratios, calculations, charts, and analytical outputs used across the platform. - Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop and improve Musaffa News features, research tools, dashboards, and financial-data functionality. - Test new platform features and participate in user acceptance testing. - Identify data issues, calculation discrepancies, and opportunities for product improvement. - Help improve research, data-validation, and quality-control processes. What We’re Looking For - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Investment Management, Business, or a related field. - Recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills. - Strong understanding of financial statements and company analysis. - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Genuine interest in equities, financial markets, fintech, data, and Islamic finance. - Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of fundamental analysis, technical analysis, valuation, financial modelling, Excel, TradingView, Bloomberg, Reuters, financial databases, data analytics, or product testing will be considered an advantage.
