Established in 1934, TIIAME National Research University (The Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers) is Uzbekistan's premier institution for engineering, agriculture, and environmental sciences. Designated as a national research university by Presidential Decree in 2021, TIIAME has evolved into a regional hub for academic excellence, technological innovation, and global scientific cooperation. With over 100 years of academic legacy, TIIAME plays a vital role in preparing highly qualified professionals and advancing research to address global challenges related to water, food, climate, and sustainability. The university currently offers more than 40 bachelor's, 36 master's, and 21 doctoral programs, alongside 15 professional development courses. These programs are aligned with European Qualification Frameworks and labor market demands. TIIAME has been a pioneer in launching new academic departments in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, water diplomacy, and inclusive education. Educational innovation is reinforced through "twinning" partnerships with top global universities such as Wageningen University (Netherlands), Michigan State University (USA), and Colorado State University (USA).
